Skills Required:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a video editor or similar role
- Some experience in using video editing equipment
- Creative thinker
- Good time-management skills
- Proficient in Final Cut Pro X, Adobe After Effects
- Experience in editing promotional and advertising videos
- Knowledge and a good understanding of motion graphics are preferred.
- Proficiency in video editing software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of different motion picture techniques
- Ability to work in a team
- Excellent analytical skills
Job Duties:
- Manage and oversee all technical aspects of video editing
- Use video editing software to assemble footage into a cohesive narrative, and add effects, transitions, and other elements as needed.
- Regularly collaborate with the marketing team
- Develop an overall video brand messaging strategy
- Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
- Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects
- Create rough and final cuts Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
- Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and the industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency
- Manage project timelines and deadlines, and ensure that all deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with other members of the creative team, including graphic designers, writers, and producers, to ensure that video content is aligned with overall branding and marketing strategies.
